Tea · A Gentle Ritual of Return
In the steam, a path appears—
mountains I knew before language,
hands warmed by leaves,
a cup held like a memory.
For Sherry, tea is a language of care—a quiet ritual that shapes how she welcomes and tends to others.
She prepares each cup with thoughtfulness and intention, often tailoring it to the needs of the person she’s about to care for—
a tea to settle the nerves, warm the stomach, ease the breath, or simply soften the edges of the day.
In her clinic, tea is more than a gesture.
It is the gentle beginning of every treatment, helping the body relax and the spirit arrive.
And afterward, it becomes a quiet cleansing—restoring warmth, balance, and stillness.
When loved ones accompany a patient, Sherry often leads them to her tea room, tucked within the garden.
This peaceful hideaway—bathed in natural light and surrounded by green—is a space to rest while their loved one heals.
Here, they may sip tea undisturbed, read, stretch, breathe, or simply sit with the sun on their skin.
It is a place where those who give care may receive it, too.
Many travel from afar to see her.
And as the session draws to a close, Sherry places a warm cup into their hands—
a quiet companion for the road, steeped in care, carrying her warmth all the way home.
And in the warmth of that final cup, a silent bond is brewed—one of trust, tenderness, and return.
Pu-erh Tea (Ripe)
Earthy, mellow, grounding.
A post-fermented tea aged for depth and warmth, ideal for those seeking digestive support, emotional calm, or seasonal grounding.
This tea offers a steadying presence—like deep roots beneath shifting winds.
Liu Bao Tea
Smooth, woody, quietly powerful.
A traditional dark tea from Guangxi, known for its ability to dispel dampness and cold. Often used in Southern Chinese wellness traditions, it provides deep warmth and comfort to body and spirit.
White Tea
Light, floral, clarifying.
Delicate in appearance but rich in antioxidants, white tea is a cooling brew that supports gentle detoxification and inner clarity. Ideal for warmer constitutions or as a soothing, everyday ritual.
Tangerine Pu-erh Tea (Xiao Qing Gan)
Bright, citrusy, harmonising.
This tea combines ripe Pu-erh with sun-dried young green tangerine peel, traditionally used to regulate Qi, aid digestion, and uplift the senses. A perfect balance of richness and lightness.
Apricity – Slow-Simmered Lime Tea
Bright, soothing, quietly radiant.
Crafted only during Auckland’s lime harvest season, with organic limes handpicked from Sherry’s own orchard. This tea is her winter offering—slow-simmered with golden rock sugar and either white tea or ripe Pu-erh.
It warms from within, supporting immunity, calming the breath, and softening winter’s sharp edges.
A cup of sunlight—patient, golden, and gently healing.
Teaware · Aesthetics of Stillness
Sherry selects each teapot and cup with care—
valuing not only craftsmanship, but the way a vessel holds space.
Whether Yixing clay, porcelain, or hand-fired glaze, each piece is meant to enhance the ritual:
to slow you down, and bring beauty to the pause.
Every cup is a returning.
Not to where you were—
but to where you can truly rest.
