Tea · A Gentle Ritual of Return
For Sherry, tea has always been more than a drink—
it is a way home.
She grew up among mist-covered hills and tea-lined slopes,
where spring began with hand-picked leaves,
and winter closed with the soft warmth of pine-scented woodsmoke.
Tea, to her, was presence. Stillness. A way of listening—
to the body, to the turning seasons, to something quieter within.
Now, in her private tea room in New Zealand,
Sherry welcomes others into this gentle ritual.
Each tea is chosen not just for flavour, but for intention—
rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine,
and thoughtfully paired with different constitutions and emotional rhythms.
Some teas ease a restless heart.
Some brighten slow, heavy mornings.
Each one offers care in a cup—
and a quiet reminder:
You are allowed to pause.
You are invited to return.
