Where Beauty Waits
~~ Lyra Fenelle, 16 June 2025

The camera, the pen, the vial of scent, the string, the needle—
all are vessels, but not the source.
They hold a certain stillness, waiting.
But it is we who must arrive fully.

It is the eye that notices what light is trying to say,
the heart that feels when a word lands softly,
the nose that remembers the story of a rose,
the hand that plays, not a sound, but a feeling.

In fragrance, we learn to listen to silence—
each drop a breath from a flower, a forest, a forgotten season.
In music, we let the fingertips speak what the mouth cannot.
And in acupuncture,
we do not simply pierce what the textbook shows—
we place each needle with intention,
like a verse, like a gesture of care,
mapping not the body, but the pain behind it.

To live with beauty is not to decorate life,
but to feel it wholly—with every sense awakened,
and one more:
a presence that touches time and lets it slow.
This is where the poem begins.
And where it quietly returns.

About Lyra Fenelle (Sherry’s pen name)

A storyteller of moments lived, a weaver of quiet truths.

Rooted in realism, each poem isa genuine imprint—

not mere imagination, but reflections born from real stories,

touched by the senses, emotions, and the delicate textures of life.

With a voice both tender and unvarnished,

Lyra Fenelle invites readers into intimate scenes where

every breath, every silence, and every flicker of light

holds meaning—poetry lived, not just dreamed.
